PSYCHEDELIC RAINBOWS

It has been statistically proven that people are drawn to brighter colors when they are feeling loving and hopeful. This is especially true in fashion! That's not to say you can't be totally happy whilst rockin' your little black dress, but overall, adding a little color to your wardrobe or even hair can totally brighten your mood.

Speaking of that, what do you guys think of the multi color hair trend?

A. Love it! I'm going to streak it 8 different colors this weekend!

B. Eh, it's cool but my parents or boss might go into a meltdown.

C. Uh, save it for like Halloween or something!

FUTURE FRIDAY'S The Lady Who Fell To Earth

I love anything that has to do with sci fi and outer space! You can frequently find me curled up on a Sunday afternoon watching Firefly DVDs, Fifth Element, or Chronicles of Riddick.....that of course is if there are no America's Next Top Model rerun marathons! :)

This shoot is by London based photographer Tim Walker and the pictures were taken for a UK Vogue. A strange combination of retro style space craft and futuristic clothing make this a fun and interesting shoot!

FUTURE FRIDAY'S Fadeless Flowers

HAPPY FRRIIIIIIIDAY!

This weeks featured photographer is Hyea W. Kang and the shoot is called Fadeless Flowers. The gorgeous model is Lee Hyun Yi and the photos were taken for Vogue Korea.

I'm in love with the mix of textures and patterns in the clothing as well as the serene vibe of the whole shoot. Bold and colorful, yet peaceful!

Fashion Is Going To The Dogs!

I couldn't resist posting this shoot with model Melissa Tammerijn and her furry companion! It kind of has that dog / owner thing going on with the fro! I LOVE it! The pictures are from 10 Magazine and shot by photographer Andreas Larsson.

I encourage you if you are an animal lover like myself, consider giving to a reputable charity that supports the safety and well being of animals. My favorite one is the ASPCA (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals). I donate a percentage of all sales from both my vintage clothing shops. Even if it's a small amount it can make a difference! A local animal rescue is a great place to give a few bucks to, and it just feels good to know you helping.
