NEON Shoot with Anna De Rijk + fun NEON Makeup tutorial

I love this shoot! I actually had the wig pictured above (see pic below) and used to put it on my mannequin "Bean" when selling vintage clothing. Also....my neighbor in South Beach was this really fabulous gay guy that would come over with his friends after clubbing and play dress up in all of my bright colored wigs. Now that was a fun use of the wigs!

*You can still pick this wig up on Ebay for like $20 or $30 bucks. Just search "green wig" and you'll see quite a few.

Anyway, the super bright neon colors are always great in my book, and model Anna De Rijk pulls it off flawlessly! I think you have to be pretty adventurous though if your going to wear neon. You don't want to end up looking like a giant piece of fruit! Best to start off with a scarf or a pair of neon stilettos if you're not sure. :)

Futuristic Psychedelic Hippie Love ♥

When I saw this shoot I think I jolted upright in my chair and proceed to swirl around the room! My dogs tend to freak out when I do that and join in the excitement.

Anyway, the photos are from October Criativa and I love them! Colorful and psychedelic, with a total modern day hippie vibe! Kind of looks like they could be on their way to Burning Man or a desert rave.






So in other news....I'm totally sold out of vintage in the Future Hippie Shop. (*yippie!!!*)I probably won't be restocking it but I will definitely keep blogging.

Speaking of which, I've been blogging for quite some time now and have gotten awesome comments and emails, and the opportunity to meet some really great people. I always strive to post things you guys will enjoy, which is why I would love to hear your feedback.

I Know it's Only Rock N Roll but I Like It

Back again one of my favorite "Future Hippies" Georgia May Jagger, daughter of rock legend Mick Jagger. This is her latest shoot in Vogue Australia December 2010.

Fierce huh? She's kind of setting a new trend with the whole gap tooth model thing. She's still my favorite of them all!

The Future is GLAM!

I don't know about you guys but I am crazy about anything glittery and glamorous! I'm the type of girl who will wear glitter eyeliner year round and platforms whether they are in style or not.

Here are a few pics that I adore!




Speaking of glitter and glam, my handsome husband bought me these fierce Jeffery Campbell glitter Lita platforms. I had been waiting for them to come out for months and was so excited to finally get a pair!

Not only that, I got an early X-mas present! Jeffery Campbell glitter Lydia platforms.

My feet have never been this happy! :)

The shop I got them from is Edge of Urge. They are selling out quick!
