What's shakin' sexy people?

I'm kind of loving this whole tribal trend that's happening right now.....the chunky jewelry...the wild prints.....fabulous! Especially if it's done right. Here's a shoot from a London Sunday Telegraph featuring Karmen Pedaru who is just absolutely fierce! What? I told you I say fierce a lot, it's in my sidebar! :)

FUTURE FRIDAY'S Robot Series

Hi everybody, it's that time of week again.....Future Friday's! I thought Friday would never get here! :)

This weeks featured photographer is Markku Lahdesmaki from Tampere, Finland. Markku now resides in sunny Southern California and continues to produce ironic and beautiful images.

Some of you know how much I love Robots, so when I saw this series I had to post it. The pictures make you want to take one home with you!

What are you guys up to this weekend? I think I'm going to work on some sewing projects, listen to some new music and catch up on my fashion mags. No wild parties this weekend...well.....then again.....

FASHION IN ART

When I came across the work of Nikki Farquharson I was captivated! Nikki is a 24 year old freelance designer based in London who has already landed design gigs with companies like Fuji Film and Nike. I'm enjoying these pics in particular because shes seems to magically blend fashion and art, two things I love! Kind of a trippy modern psychedelic feel, don't ya think?

Nikki also runs a website called Random Got Beautiful, where users can upload photos into color sets, definitely worth a visit!

FUTURE HIPPIE gets freaky with NEON!

If you have been reading the Future Hippie blog for awhile now, you will probably surmise that I am in love with neon! Now that the statement jewelry collection for Hippie Couture is up, I decided to focus on bringing Future Hippie into the.....um......future! :) The shop has a new look and the focus is bright colored, psychedelic and neon vintage, from the 60's through the 90's.
